Astrel Group is a new company officially born on January 1st 2016, originating from merging together Astrel srl (a company funded in 1987) and the companies Hottoh srl and 4-noks srl. With a lean organization since the early 2000s, Astrel Group ensures the quality of the products and services provided with a major focus on improving internal processes and production.
Astrel Group owns a plant of over 4000 sq. m. standing as one of the very few Italian companies with on-site departments of Research & Development, Production Engineering, Test Lab and Production, from SMD components assembly to in-circuit and functional tests.
In addition to its headquarters in Gorizia, Astrel Group also has one local unit in Gaiarine (TV).
Astrel Group focuses on the development and distribution of electronic solutions for the wellness, biomass heating, solar PV systems and smart home markets. The Astrel Group owns different brands, each identifying the different application fields of its products.

Astrel Group is one of the very few Italian companies in the electronic market integrating in its own plant both R&D and Production Departments. We deemed it a strategic solution to reduce costs and produce technological innovative products to distribute on the market with steadily high quality, flexibility and efficiency at maximum levels.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT
Astrel Group’s Quality Management System has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1999 and its Environment Management System is certified to ISO 14001 for the design, screen printing, wave soldering, assembly, final testing, sale and assistance of electronic monitoring and control devices.
RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU; Italian Legislative Decree 27/2014 and subsequent amendments)
Astrel Group products are RoHS Directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) compliant that is they are free from the following substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ether.
WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU; Italian Legislative Decree 49/2014 and subsequent amendments)
The WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive) aims at reducing the wastes coming from the end-of life electrical and electronic equipments. According to the WEEE Directive, EOL products require sorted disposal and specific treatments for their reuse, recycling and recovery.
To fulfil the requirements of the WEEE Directive, Astrel Group has:
subscribed to the Italian WEEE Registry (subscription no. IT18120000011020)
joined the ERP— European Recycling Platform — Italia Consortium
charged the international distributor’s unit price for the WEEE cost
adapted the design and production of its own products according to the WEEE directive
aligned the product documentation (labels, manuals, instruction sheets and package) to the WEEE directive
